View Full Version : Core network upgrade
I have just been informed about this by the forums host
[quote="Host":75741]
This issue affects All Clusters.
We are currently upgrading our network infrastructure to handle our increasing traffic.
Unfortunately this may result in minor network disturbance for short periods today.
We are sorry about the inconvenience caused.

If you notice any problems, please list them here and I will pass them onto the host.
Cheers,
Ross

sometimes its been coming up with the error message and not displaying the forum
Cheers,
I have mentioned it to them and they seem to keep brushing it off and saying "Tell us next time it happens" but by the time I do, it's fixed and they say "We can't do anything until it happens and we see it" <!-- s:evil: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" alt="Evil or Very Mad" title="Evil or Very Mad" /><!-- s:evil: -->
Bloody idiots they are!!!
I've just complained again about it, if they carry on I will move to a new host as this is stupid. 4 complaints now!

Servage.net Clustered Webhosting running enhanced Apache Webserver
couldnt get on all day yesterday at work because of this when /portal is on the end of the address
<!-- s:evil: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" alt="Evil or Very Mad" title="Evil or Very Mad" /><!-- s:evil: -->
I fixed that yesterday (the roll back didn't change the settings in login.php so it was pointing to portal.php instead of index.php), I have got fed up with my host so I built a server at home so that I can eventually transfer the forum over to that. I am in the process of testing it at the moment, and Dave so far has been able to access it better than on my normal host <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt="Shocked" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: --> (no errors at all). I'll try and rap this all up asap.

Thats not even half of the problems, we have Americans on the board <!-- s:shock: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt="Shocked" title="Shocked" /><!-- s:shock: --> Where are the Japanese when you need them <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="Laughing" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

You all sound like you are speaking Japanese right now with all this Computer talk <!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Rolling Eyes" title="Rolling Eyes" /><!-- s:roll: -->
Dave thought he would turn you on by talking about it all. He wanted to expose his 3 and a half inch floppy but his mrs slapped him around a bit.

There really is an add campaign for erection pills using this guy-Smiling Bob,who is so happy because he can maintain a stiffy long enough to force him to rush to the ER.
