Hey,it's very nice.I wondered if it was too mild in arrangement to sustain interest, maybe needing more pizzazz, but,by track's end it is clear that it has t[color=#0000FF:118b4]he necessary moxy to please.Comes across as an unmashed track with it's tightness of arrangement.Well-spotted. [/color:118b4]
Sorry Dave, I disagree
The track may seem to have a "mildness" [b:e8e08]BUT[/b:e8e08] what is the main theme of both tracks? The answer is [b:e8e08]RELATIONSHIPS[/b:e8e08]. John Legend is well know for the soft tone of music based on relationships. The new Nelly Furtado track is basically sending the same message out as the John Legend track. Maybe if this track was being made to play out on a Saturday night at a night club, I could see the point of needing the "pizzazz" but the mash as a whole has kept the the original tone of each track and kept them as romantic tracks. Both of the tracks were originally marketed towards the more girly girls (The women who cry at love actually and shizzle like that) not the hip hop massive. So I think that the "mildness" of this track is justified
I think it's great mate, nice work

At the risk of seeming too conciliatory in the face of a good track feud,I concede that I may not be the best judge of a ballad-y boot.Too slow a tempo & my attention shifts.
I do like it,just not as much as you.I reckon.
But I can beat you at tiddywinks!
Do you feel owned Dave?
Second play so far.. It is a very good match
Nice one.

This is so amazing...
I had the idea of using john legend's track vs. the say it right (vocals) some days ago too, got the instrumentals and pellas already...unfortunately wasn't able to find time to mash them...yesterday in a short break I got 10 minutes time for internet and saw you posted something with nelly & John and was really shocked, after a quick download I realized you did the other way...nelly instrumental and john's vocals...so I thought yeah I'm a lucky man...and today the revenge...damn!!! My new idea! But I'm really satisfied with your way of doing it...like the revenge a bit more.
Thumbs up!
